"I believe in the future resolution of these two states, outwardly so contradictory, which are dream and reality, into a sort of absolute reality, a surreality, so to speak." -Andre Breton, Surrealist Manifesto, 1924
Andre Breton thought it might be possible to find the answers to life's mysteries by reconciling the dream state with that of waking reality.
The original photographic prints in this collection are shots of reality meant to evoke the feelings of dreams. Like dreams, interpretation is left to the viewer. Take a moment, enter the world of one of the images before you, and follow your reaction into your own subconscious. While I cannot promise that you will find the answers to life's great mysteries, I do think you may be surprised by some of the stories you tell yourself about what you see.
"Reality leaves a lot to the imagination." - John Lennon
